When we say that we are All in for the Scots, we mean it. We are All in for our students. And our students need the support of not only their college, but their community of alumni and friends as well.
As we face this crisis together, we acknowledge that the outbreak and its consequences will undoubtedly present a series of unexpected challenges for many of our students. From travel and moving related expenses and potential unemployment to food, rent, medical bills and a host of other complications, many of our students will find themselves in financial difficulty and in need of support.
In order to support our students with financial needs during the pandemic, we would like to invite you to consider making a gift to the Emergency Student Fund, a special fund set aside specifically to help our most vulnerable students in their time of need. 100% of every dollar given will be used to aid individual students’ needs.
We are establishing an online form for students to request aid. A committee, led by Dr. Pat Mulick, Vice President for Student Life, will review each case submitted, and determine the level of funding on a case by case basis. Payments will be made directly to the student’s account.
